Entire scene was created with our visualization technology and was captured directly from 3D editor running in real-time. The scene contains high resolution terrain, realistic water, sky with HDR effect and rich vegetation.

The camera can be installed on the deck of the ship or on the jetty and is showing manifold area with loading arms. The visualization includes few different types of ships (LNG, LPG, CC and oil tankers), weather conditions, multiple animations of movable objects (loading arms, blind flanges, hoses) and special effects (water spraying system, oil leakage, chemical leakage).

CCTV for Cargo Handling Simulator has been successfully approved by DNV (Det Norske Veritas).

The model was optimized for real-time visualization in a ship bridge simulator. High rendering performance of this complex vessel was achieved by using texture atlases and minimizing number of batches (changes of render states on a graphics card). To improve final look of the model normal maps, lightmap and ambient occlusion map were generated.

Terrain is being visualized based on a height map containing height/elevation data. Our solution uses an advanced level of detail system and with a power of modern graphics processors it can visualize large terrains in real-time at a high framerate.

Video and pictures below are showing a terrain visualized with our technique. This terrain was made from a height map in resolution 8192×8192 (67 108 864 points) and is covering an area of 64 square kilometres with a resolution of 1 meter per point.
