Kongsberg Maritime

Kongsberg Maritime delivers products and systems for dynamic positioning, navigation and automation to merchant vessels and offshore installations. They also supply products and systems for seabed surveying, surveillance, training simulators, and for fishing vessels and fisheries research.

Kongsberg uses our VST solution in their Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator. The visualization system is used by a Closed Circuit TV surveillance camera function giving students a more complete training scenario. As in live operations, the CCTV mode gives the student/operator the ability to see what is going on at the manifold, to check for instance, if the loading arm is connected or if there is an oil or gas leak.
